San Antonio's favorite jazz band (voted BEST JAZZ ACT IN SAN ANTONIO 2011, 2012,2014 by the reader's of the San Antonio Current) is breaking new ground with "Bullets for Breakfast." Their debut record is long overdue for their fans and critics alike. After 6 years of hard-driving jazz-rock-fusion, this creative collective has finally spent enough time in the studio to crank out 34 minutes of highly improvisational, experimental, chromatic chaos, stretching from ultra-bombastic jams featuring the tightly wound and Ornette Coleman-ish stylings of Estevan Garcia's saxophone, Donald Robin's heavy layering of guitar textures and epic thematic statements, Phillip Luna's bass going full speed ahead with dangerous grooves, rude attitude and vintage effects all sitting on top of the fire-breathing drum machine known as Kory Cook, better equated as Tony Williams meets Mitch Mitchell.
