The Roots in the Shadows of San Antonio Vol II Season has officially come to a close. Our end of summer bash took place last Saturday, Aug 22nd at Ranger Creek Brewery and was sponosored by Big Hops. We had over 300 attendees and brought in a nice little bit of funding to get kick-off Roots III - PUNK in the Shadows of San Antonio. The bands were great and everybody got rocked. At least twice! I'm already posting videos from the concert - here's the first one from uber-surf rockers King Pelican. Roots III is all about the punk. Tony Chainsaw is our curator and is hosting shows every Third Thursday at The Ten Eleven, 1011 Ave B, in San Antonio, TX. Visit the website for futher event details.
La Chichada is done recording it's debut record. We're still in post-production and hope to have something for you soon!
West Kings Highway isn't too far behind either.
O.M.N.I is done with their debut project - we're waiting for mastering and this digital only release will be ready for you!
The debut of Royal Punisher "Bullets for Breakfast" is out and can be found on their website. We'll be pushing the record to radio stations in a few weeks!
Loopfests!!!! Things are rolling. We've got TV spots booked, artists have been interviewed, we've got zines coming out to review shows, we're up online, the FB events are active, we're reaching out to our audiences every way we can, we've got some ads running, and we've got all of YOU! The artist line-ups are fantastic. Once again I'm amazed by the music and tech the world is going to put on stage at these festivals. I'm so excited to see them! If you haven't made it out before, please come. They will blow your mind. If you've come before - come again. Every year is spectacularly different.
