NEW NEWS:

The West Kings Highway farewell show was epic.  Friends and fans old and new showed up to bid us adieu.  The band went out with a bang, many shots were had, and despite a thundershower - people stayed and got soaked with us.  Tears, laughter, gifts, and tequila was in abundance.  Thanks to everyone for a very special night.  Best band break-up ever.

The Solo Sax Sessions is coming along quite nicely.  I'm getting much more fluid with the tech.  The show is evolving and has a super-hip/chill vibe going on.  It's very cool.  And I've got new stickers in!!!!

Widespread Noise has a new release out "Concrete" from The Texas LoopFest.  23 minutes of wack-a-doodle noise/music.

Texas LoopFest videos... I've hit a tech snag and haven't posted anything new in a few weeks.  Should get it worked out in the next couple of weeks and start posting vids again in the middle of the month. www.texasloopfest.com

Last month's recap:  May in the rearview:  Mondays at the airport were a little challenging, it's always different when you're developing a show.  Especially when it's weekly 4 hour gigs.  That's a lot of mental energy.  West Kings Highway played their last show.  GrooveTronX has taken the lead in my musical life and Johnny has new tech and new jams that are greatly affecting our performance.  Really looking forward to pushing into a new direction with this!  The past couple of weeks I've been taking time for myself.  Sleeping in, going to bed early, getting caught up on paperwork (done!), gear repairs (done!), organizing things, getting rid of stuff in the office, doing housework, yardwork, etc..., basically getting ready for the next phase in life.   I was wiped out from a pretty intense few months.  I've been going hard since January and really needed to decompress, sleep, veg out and restore my spirit.  Pretty much there.  Not quite back to my old self, but close enough.  Even managed to squeeze in some time to play some duets with my horn tech!

What's on deck?  A little bit of travel.  Got some out of town shows including the PHILLTER Music Festival in Pittsburgh, PA.  That's going to be a blast!   Couple of wineries, and looks like I'm booked to do the Mayoral inauguration for San Antonio.  Got one little scheudle hiccup to work through, but we'll see.  Other than that, just the residencies for me and GrooveTronX.  Time to get off the couch and get back to work!   Gotta fill that schedule up!
