NEW NEWS:
Happy New Year! 2016 was a great year for Peterson Entertainment, Llc and 2017 is shaping up to be even better. Just to kick things off, we have landed our first corporate client in San Antonio: we are now the music services provider for The Plaza Club. We've started putting our roster of artists and musical contractors into The Plaza Club for Feb events and will be taking over more of their events in the coming weeks. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with them.
D'Addario is the parent company of Rico Reeds. Rico Reeds is a sponsor of mine and they were kind enough to provide me with an artist pass to winter NAMM in Anaheim. West Kings Highway is continuing it's Friday Night Residency at Sancho's Cantina for 2017! We'll be there most Fridays from 7 to 9pm. Mostly with the 5 piece version, but occasional shows will feature some of our favorite drummers and, of course, the fabulous Henry C. (Johnny's dad) sitting in to jam with the band. The Noah Peterson Trio - It's been a long time since I've been doing any jazz. Mostly I've been doing my loop station show and playing a lot of rock and roll. But I've been getting a lot of inquiries in the past 6 months or so about doing some jazz and I've got my first trio gig booked. Looks like I'm literally getting back into the swing of things!
GrooveTron-X: I try very hard to not start or join new projects these days, but I just can't help myself! GrooveTron-X is a new duo of chill electronic music with live instruments. Me and Johnny Carrera are doing something different, something cool, downtempo beats with extended instrumental jams for a more ambient setting of digial background noise. Our debut public performance is at Halycon (Blue Star location in San Antonio) with shows on Jan 5th and 26th, 9pm. Come and enjoy cocktails, tapas, your friends, and some cool music. GrooveTron-X

Noah Peterson - Solo Sax Sessions. This is my debut live looping recording. I named it after the show I've been touring across the U.S. for the past 6 years. It's a very interesting and fun recording that captures some ferocious jams. There's an exceptional rendition of "Follow Me" which has been streamed over 1,000,000 times. Great versions of "Poortown Scrub," "Bump," and "I Just Can't Believe It," as well as a handful of original music written specifically for the loopstation.
Cosmic Dust - Journey. This is a great jazz fusion recording. My old friend Jim Templeton put this group together a long time ago in a city far, far away. The band is Jim Templeton on keys, Gary Edighoffer on reeds, Clipper Anderson on bass, Scott Reuser on drums, and Myles Kennedy on guitar. (Yes... THAT Myles Kennedy, the rock star!) This recording earned Jim and the band a Washington State Artist's Grant and is packed with fantastic music from start to finish. If you love jazz, fusion, improvisation, and exceptional music - please check out this recording. I'm pleased to have it in my catalog.

Only one change in the line-up from last month - "Hope" dropped off and "Anxiety" leaped up. The consistent popularity of this record on Spotify is a bit of a mystery to me. For ambient music this is a very good recording, but I had no idea it would outperform everything else in my catalog.
