I really did have a stellar 2019. Granted the finish was weak. I didn't care for how aspects of it ended, which kinda put a bad taste in my mouth about the whole thing, but after a lot of rest and some time off. I have some perspective on the big picture. And it was a very good year.
Looks like 2020 is off to a roaring start. New ventures are knocking on the door, the San Antonio Coffee Fest was a screaming success, met some new and good folks already, and I'm trying to expand my partnerships. And this year is going to have a lot more label activity. I want to make, record, sign, and release more music. I'm already started with myself and Widespread Noise doing a series of releasing singles on digital platforms. That's been a lot of fun, although I haven't had any time to make videos. So I need to figure that out. I'm getting time in on my EWI, my gadgets, and I've about got my home studio as good as I can get it. I'm looking forward to a creative year.
All in all though, I'm ready for punishing and active year. Time is tight already and I've got a huge amount of things on my agenda. Home repairs are a must to get finished, yard work, practice time, band gigs, music promotion, events, taxes, and trying to keep the wife happy. Yikes...time to get back to it.
