NEW NEWS:

2016 is flying by - we're already into February, I can't believe how fast it's going by.  I've been working on a studio project and have a good start on it, but I'm not anticipating being done with it until summer.  O.M.N.I. is getting closer and closer to FINALLY put our debut effort out.  I just finished some tracking for an ambient, electronic release - it's very different from anything I've done before and it's a lot of space-noise fun.  And my next looping release should be out soon.&n bsp; Trying to keep it all going is busy, busy, busy!

Residencies:
Wednesday nights at J&O’s Cantina with "Noah Peterson and Friends" is getting a nice variety of guests.  Check the calendar for whose playing when.
Friday nights at Sancho’s Cantina with West Kings Highway is rocking!  We mix it up with our regular trio and special guest musicians. This Friday features Henry Carrera Sr (Tobias Brothers, Dell Kings, Los Blues) and Al "Footsie" Catan (Augie Meyers).  It's gonna be a hoot!

LoopFests:  Big thanks to our TWO sponsors so far Morley Pedals, www.morelypedals.com, and Looping Live, www.loopinglive.com.  We've been talking to venues for a couple of weeks and hope to have show announcements soon. In the meantime please enjoy videos from the 2015 Festivals; just go to the sites and click on the artist: www.sanantonioloopfest.com, www.austinloopfest.com, www.nwloopfest.com, www.socalloopfest.com, www.rockymountainloopfest.com.

Jean-Pierre and the Zydeco Angels has been booking shows. We kick off our season this Saturday, Feb 6th at Cowboy Harley-Davidson in Austin, TX.  It's a free show, noon-3pm - come on out for zydeco and motorcycles!

West Kings Highway has a brand new site up, www.westkingshighway.com, and we're getting our social media pulled together.

La Chichada has been hiding out in rehearsal. Why?  Becuase we have a bass player!  Chris "Bigwood" Ewing is on board and fitting nicely into the band. We're just starting to do some shows with him; the next one is Feb 6th at the Raven Hookah Lounge, 10pm, $3 cover, and Sandpaper Sally closes the night midnight to 2am.

NEW NEWS:

Happy New Year!  2016 is already rolling and so are we!

Residencies continue for the year: Wednesday nights and J&O’s Cantina with Noah Peterson and Friends are a go for the year as is Friday nights at Sancho’s Cantina with West Kings Highway.  Both are weekly events.

LoopFests:  How can there already be news?  Simple, our first sponsor for the year is Morley Pedals, www.morelypedals.com,  I already have their gear to be raffled off at the individual LoopFests!   Huge thanks to Morley Pedals for coming on board so early!  And there’s still all the videos from the 2015 season to watch on youtube!

Jean-Pierre and the Zydeco Angels has a few changes in the line-up.  Jude Pryor re-joins the band on guitar and Jimmy Mustol joins the band on drums, Andrew Vollette continues to hold down the bass, I’m on sax and washboard, and Jean-Pierre anchors us on accordion and vocals.  This is a the best line-up we’ve had since I’ve been in the group and we’re looking forward to a great crawfish and Mardis Gras season.

West Kings Highway is adding some fun new tech to the line-up.  We’ll be having a fuller sound with some different arrangements.  We’re still working out the bugs and getting things programmed right now, but should be rolling out the new show within the month.   And we’ve got a few new tunes we’ve been penning!

SHOWS: Grab yer calendars and dancing shoes!

The San Antonio Coffee Festival is Saturday at La Villita, come on out for some local coffee and fun.  I’ll be on stage at noon with my Solo Sax Sessions!

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope your season is filled with family, fun, and good health.

We are wrapping up the year quietly at Peterson Entertainment and wanted to thank all of you for buying our music, coming to the shows, and watching the videos. We hope you've enjoyed it and hope you'll continue to enjoy our music for years to come.

NEW NEWS:

BandVanAdventures IX - Make it or Break it
While technically I made it, it sure did feel like I broke it.  What an arduous journey this trip was.  I played a LOT of music, heard some awesome music, saw a lot of old friends, but the trip was rife with personal strif from my father having complications with his heart surgery (and still having them...) to a run of bad luck that just won't quit.  It really made it tough to be in the moment and serve the artists and audiences to the best of my ability.  Fortunately, my friends and colleagues were all pitching in to help make the shows and the trip another amazing experiece.

I've got the entire festival videos for SoCal and Rocky Mountain posted on youtube.  You can find the artist links at www.socalloopfest.com and www.rockymountainloopfest.com.  I'll be posting all of the playlists for you to enjoy in the near future.  Others are in process...

NEW NEWS

BandVanAdventures IX - Make it or Break It is a week under way. Things started off close to home with my first road gig in Kerrville, Texas for a cool winery.  Sold a handful of CD's and hit the road with a full tank of gas and a cash positive situation.  Great start!  Next came the Monday Night Menagerie at Cervantes Other Side in Denver, CO for a wild night of music to a packed house of young'n's.  That was fun!  Next was a gig up the mountain at the Little Bear Saloon in Evergreen Colorado.  And the debut of the Rocky Mountain LoopFest came and went.  Great performances to a small but lovely crowd in Denver and a repeat on Friday night in Colorado Springs.  Saturday was a day of extremes, an 8am start time for 5 hours of non-stop looping at the farmers market was followed by a nap and 9pm-1am show at The Mirage Sports Bar in Littleton with a couple of friends.   The week officially wrapped Sunday at a house party complete with music, food, beer, people, etc...  Just doing a little catch-up Monday morning and then it's off to the next state.  Literally!

Well...here it is.  I'm about to do it again.  Another crazy giant trip around the country.  This is going to be a wacky adventure.  Not really sure how it's all going to play out yet, but it should be awesome.  I'm better prepared than I have ever been for these fests.   Last year was incredibly hard.  This year was no picnic, but so much easier.  I feel very good about things.   Got some press, got some sponsorship, got some amazing talent, good venues, ready to go with video, webpages are rocking... should be great.  Literally all I have left to do is continue my last email campaign, try to get on TV, and pass out flyers.  That's it.   This should be a lot of fun, I'm going to see old friends and music makers.    All kinds of little things are about to pop this week. I'm hoping they all make a difference.

Make it or break it.

Monday is my Sunday...kind of.  I take about half the day the off.  Unless I'm really wiped and spend the day on the couch.  I only think about the things that I do as what I do for work; which very much defines my life and my being.  In truth my greatest joys are looking at my yard and seeing the trees growing and my peppers fruiting and fretting about not having enough compost.   Sometimes I think about what I do and it seems like nothing, other days I'm shocked at my output of content.  As a serious artist that prides himself at kicking ass all day, every day all I can say say is that it's in the effort.  Back in high school I was a maniac for football. I was too small, too slow, and couldn't catch.  But I knew the game, I was tough, mean, and didn't know the word quit. I still don't.  I had a workout partner one summer, Jahn Diem.    We ran and lifted weights 6 days a week.   One day we worked out so hard I puked twice.  It wasn't significant that we would hurl on occasion.  What was significant was that a few minutes after, we threw ourselves back into the fray harder than before.  Nobody was watching.  Nobody cared.  We did it for ourselves.  I still work like that every day.   But I'm old now. Tempered with experience, a little wisdom, a lot more compassion.  From this weekend, my fingers are still tore up, I'm still short on sleep, I've already got every night this week booked with one thing or another.  I don't get any "atta boys" or shit like that.  It's a heart-breaking, lonely grind.  Yet somehow I feel fortunate and blessed beyond comparison.  I get to make music.

Half of my partners screw me, the other half are useless.  I have a small handful of quality associates who are worth their weight in gold, even if our musical rewards are only pennies.  I don't know why I do this, it used to be because I felt like it was a must.  Now it's more like the thing I am an expert at.  But still, the rewards are hollow and pointless...but the joy remains.  I love making a jam with other musicians.  I love making a kick-ass track.  I love making people stand up and scream and clap.  It's only for the briefest of times, but for some of them, those moments are an eternity.  I never devalue what I do, but the economic reality is often unpleasant.  My work schedule is 24/7. 365.  I'll grab respite where and when I can.  Thank God the Marines taught me to grab sleep whenever the fuck you can get it.  Thank God for God and the beauty and tragedy of the human experience which I try and put to music.  Thank God for those few who listen.  Thank God for those who are moved.  Thank God for my wife, who gave up much to be with me.  I did not give her a life of comfort and ease.  I am hard man.  It's not easy for her.  She gives me her best.  And she gives me her all.  I couldn't have had a better partner.  Sometimes I feel bad for not having more to offer.  But we live richly, we live well, we have joy, and love, and trust, and each other and no amount of money can replace that.  She is a good woman.  I try and be her good husband.

The Roots in the Shadows of San Antonio Vol II Season has officially come to a close.  Our end of summer bash took place last Saturday, Aug 22nd at Ranger Creek Brewery and was sponosored by Big Hops.  We had over 300 attendees and brought in a nice little bit of funding to get kick-off Roots III - PUNK in the Shadows of San Antonio.  The bands were great and everybody got rocked.  At least twice!  I'm already posting videos from the concert - here's the first one from uber-surf rockers King Pelican.  Our last effort for Roots II promotion is the radio station and media mailing to take place in September.  Remember, you can get your FREE downloads of Vol I and II at www.rootsintheshadows.com!  If you dig it, please donate to support our efforts.  If you want some swag - give here:  http://fnd.us/c/611nle/sh/61jxn2

Roots III is all about the punk.  Tony Chainsaw is our curator and is hosting shows every Third Thursday at The Ten Eleven, 1011 Ave B, in San Antonio, TX.  Visit the website for futher event details.

West Kings Highway isn't too far behind either.

O.M.N.I is done with their debut project - we're waiting for mastering and this digital only release will be ready for you!

The debut of Royal Punisher "Bullets for Breakfast" is out and can be found on their website.  We'll be pushing the record to radio stations in a few weeks!

Loopfests!!!! Things are rolling.  We've got TV spots booked, artists have been interviewed, we've got zines coming out to review shows, we're up online, the FB events are active, we're reaching out to our audiences every way we can, we've got some ads running, and we've got all of YOU!  The artist line-ups are fantastic.  Once again I'm amazed by the music and tech the world is going to put on stage at these festivals. I'm so excited to see them! If you haven't made it out before, please come.  They will blow your mind.  If you've come before - come again.  Every year is spectacularly different.

Its official... I'm in freak-out mode. This happens every year about this time.  I'm getting ready for the epic loopfest season and there's always many things to do that haven't been done yet.  Except this year.

I've got it all done.  I'm on schedule, I had an unexpected expansion for one of the fests.  The logos should be done tonight. Then it's promo, promo, promo....I don't know why I'm so tense.   I'm guessing it's a few yeas of habit.  My tour schedule is pretty full.  I've got most of my bases covered.  I'm still soliciting sponsors. But everything is handled.  I wonder if I'll look back at this post in a month a have a good laugh...

Today I cranked out a bunch of video. I need to do some tweaks on the cameras.  I'm not liking the quality I'm getting.  I had it set better a while back.  I need to figure that out again.  Getting most of my house stuff caught up.  Got my paperwork caught up.  Got the horn in the shop, again.  Sheesh... really hoping I found a good repair tech this time.  It's tough getting your horn repaired in San Antonio.  Competence is a real problem down here. But I've got my Yamaha to jam on, and for once I'm nowhere near as critical about it as I used to be.

Got a little airplay in Philadelphia from an older recording - that's always awesome.  Got the new loop record done and waiting for my buddy Zack to throw some EQ on it.  And we've finished up the last O.M.N.I track which is awesome.  West Kings Highway just got a regular Friday night gig and La Chichada rehearsal are super-productive.  Got some new loopers coming down for my Wednesday night gigs and they're all great.  You tube channel is plodding along.  Trying different things with that with a little success here and there, but nothing that really makes a difference.

All in all things are really good right now.  Still, the pay sucks across the board.  That's pretty much the last missing piece.  Marriage is great, I do love San Antonio although after three years the honeymoon is finally starting to fade.  There is an incredible amount of stupid shit constantly going on that is irking me right now.  But it's 1000 times better than before, so I'm going to be contentedly irked for the moment.

Really working my ass off these days thought.  Up late and it's fast and furious on the computers.  Right now I've got a album uploading to a licensing site, the other computer is uploading two videos. I just finished an article of tips and tricks for looping performance, sent out about 100 emails, did some Roots biz, check out some tunes, clean the office up a little, did some research for some home projects, chad a couple domestic duties to handle, pimped some videos, web-page and social media updates, calendar updates.... oy. And while my body is tired, my brain is frenetic - it's not stopping...it's hard to shut off right now.  I got one lesson to teach in a little bit and then I think I'm taking the night off.  We'll see how that goes...

oy..... I think I did a really fantastic job of suppressing my mania until August.  Now that August is here... omg!   My head is exploding.    There's so much to do.  Right now, I'm on schedule and as of tomorrow I'll be ahead of the game.  I've got one sponsor on board and going after others pretty hard core tomorrow.  I've got all the fests booked, including a recent addition in Colorado Springs...dang - that's an unexpected development.

Once again the line-ups are awesome and once again utterly taking me by surprise.  Southern California is going to be on fire awesome.  The line-up is amazing. The Texas fests have new and heavy talent unknown in the looping community.  The NW is going to debut new technologies - debuting NEW TECH - something like that never even occurred to me.  We are now scientifically relevant.  The Rocky Mountain LoopFest exploded into two nights, two cites in the blink of an eye.  Web traffic is up, video views are creeping up and dipping,

I'm making some major headway for myself and (hopefully) for the loopfests, but that all remains to be seen - suffice to say there's a new looping zine in the works and I'm going to be a part of it.  I really hope it lasts.

My bands in San Antonio are doing all right.  La Chichada is kicking ass, West Kings Highway is solid and making baby steps.  My zydeco band in Austin is on very shaky ground.  I don't think it's going to last.  And I'm worried about the band leader, life has been giving him a beating.  I'm still there for him though.

The Roots project is on fire, in a good way.  Had a smashing success with our last event and one more big event on the books to go.

I got invited to play in Singapore, I'm doing a music biz workshop in Denver, my wife needs me to do more work on the house....

Gotta get to it.... not much sleep these days.  Gonna be a CRAZY fall.

Well howdy-doody...  Haven't really been feeling like myself lately.  Mostly it's because I've been tricked.  I moved to Texas for sun and heat.  Yet this spring has been dark and wet.  No sun, no heat.  It's like I'm back in Portland but it's 30 degrees warmer.   Really makes it tough to do anything. I get moody, depressed, I waste my time, I can't get things done.  It's terrible.  I don't know how I lasted 18 years in Oregon.  I do know I really NEED to see some freakin' sun though.  I'm going crazy...  If it would dry out I could finish putting my garden in and get to some home repairs, but that's not looking good.  My chicken coup was supposed to have been done months ago.  That hasn't happened yet either. Damn this weather!

When the sun shines - it literally powers me.  I'm happy, energetic, aggressive, ready to rock and roll.  I've been listless for weeks and weeks.  God help me if those clouds don't go away soon.  The only saving grace is the temperature is in the 70s and 80s.  Not cool.  I feel bad for my wife.  I try to keep this crap to myself and man-up, but daaaaaaaamn...  I really have to have sunshine.  It's no joke.  No way I'm going on meds or anything like that.  I just need this freak Texas monsoon season to fuck off and die.  My photo-sensitive outdoor light has not shut off for 3 days straight. WTF is that!?!?!

Despite my personal issues, progress is being made.  About to pop out some new releases, which I'm grateful for.  LoopFests are rolling and for the first time ever, not eating up my entire life!  My darling wife actually complimented me on how much time we've been spending together even though I'm busier that I've ever been in Texas.  That rocks.  Hanging out with her does brighten me up quite a bit.  I should stop whining and be grateful for that.

Just had a little feature done on me locally - you can see it here: www.celebratemusicsa.com/noah-peterson.html

I've also jumped back into teaching for the first time in over a decade.  Guess what?  I really like it!  First time ever I've enjoyed it.  Maybe it's just because I have a good student.  Maybe I've finally matured and mellowed....strike that, maybe I've just matured enough to be able to deal with kids.

Sometimes I just need a place to dump my baggage.  This blog is it.

Anyway - got a show tonight.  Got the hilarious and great Aldo Caldo coming down from Austin to do his thing at my residency gig.  He's gonna be great.  I'm going to try and crawl inside the music and hide inside some loops for a couple of hours until he shows up.

Here's hoping summer comes sooner than later!

Woweee... what a crazy couple of weeks.

Been spending extra rehearsals getting La Chichada ready for recording.  Which we've been doing.  Should finish up recording drums tonight!   And we played San Antonio's Maverick Festival and rocked it!  That was cool.

Every night was packed with rehearsals or shows.  My weekly  Wednesday night looper gig had guest artists every week and I streamed two of the nights online with some new tech that I'm still figuring out.

My buddy Zach (and O.M.N.I. partner) came into town for about two weeks.  We finished up the first project and laid 19 tracks down for the new one.  Zach also got a video done and started on a second one.  Did lots of tourist stuff too...missions, the Alamo, Riverwalk, bars, clubs, food, introducing him to my Texas friends.  And walking 1/2 mile in the pouring rain hauling gear for a Fiesta gig getting soaked from head to toe.

I had two weekends of intense show schedules.  Lots of driving to Temple, Austin, Leander, and back to San Antonio...

Had my first Fiesta gigs for myself and with West Kings Highway and my first "triple" in Texas.  What's a triple?  3 gigs in one day.  Mine was extra special because it was also three different cities - the Louisiana Swamp Thing & Crawfish Festival in Austin, Crawfish Festival of New Braunfels, and La Tuna in San Antonio.

Somehow in there I managed to keep booking gigs, kept up with the yard although the thunderstorms were frequent and dumped a ton of rain, bug-bombed the house and gave my kitty a flea bath, and finished booking all of the loopfest venues!

I'm exhausted and tired and happy.  Going to take some of today off and recoup...

I do love working.  I do it all the time.  The problem with that is that I do need some time to not work.  I try and balance my life with everything. Work takes up the vast majority though.  The problem is my schedule.  I don't have one.  While I have a routine, it ain't really routine.  And things get busy, and things come up.

I've been pushing hard to finish off a couple of projects. In the meantime, I have about another dozen that are sooooo close to being done.  But my performance schedule is heavy right now.  I'm making rehearsals if I don't have a show.  And I just had family in town.  Late nights and any non-show time was spent with family.  Sunday was a night out with friends to watch the Spurs.  Monday was a night out for a little social/biz connection.  Tues was rehearsal, Wed was a gig, Thurs was a rehearsal north of Austin - got home at 1am chatted with family in 3am, Friday was around town with the family followed by a night with two 3 hour gigs back-to-back - then went and partied with friends until 3am, Sat was up early - cancelled the early gig for weather then around town with the family - a restaurant gig night and then a couple hours chatting and on the computer.  Sun was down to the riverwalk, airport drop-off and off to watch the Spurs game at a friend's place.  In bed before 11pm.  That's in my own bed and not on the couch like I've been for the past couple nights.

So today I'm up early, I feel pretty rested but I'm tired.  Worn out.  Normally Mondays are my pseudo-weekend.  But there's just no time for it.  Even today.  Did some stuff that needed to be done, dinked around for a bit and now my brain is going crazy from all the things screaming to be attended to.  My body is saying, dude...chill out.

As a compromise - I blog.  Helps the brain, helps a couple of other biz things, makes me feel like I did a little something and still tried to relax and not work for at least a little while.

But I love it.  I love it all.  Life is pretty good right now.  My marriage is rock star awesome, my wife is rock star awesome.  I love my little home and love working hard on it to make it beautiful.  My family is great.  My friends are great. I have never felt so loved in my life.  I love my bands. I feel musically fulfilled.  I find them enjoyable, challenging, and fun.  I like my bandmates a lot. And my bands are busy. Things are rolling with the label - it's slow and ponderous, but it's movement.  The LoopFests have taken on their own life.  That whole thing is a trip.  My own show is getting better.  I feel like it's changed a lot since the last round and it's time to move into the next direction, but I don't know what that is going to be.  It's kind of a weird space to be into. Other things, opportunities are springing up.   Oy....now I'm thinking about all the stuff to get done again.  I need another me to take a vacation for me.

This week is gonna be intense. Extra rehearsals, big festival gig for La Chichada, couple of big domestic life projects to complete, gotta figure out the video switcher, bookings, event promotions, new tunes to learn, got another guest coming next week for a week to finish off one record and record a new one, and on and on...I gotta go.

Yowza!

Now that was the kind of weekend I prefer.  6 gigs in 3 days, driving all over Central Texas.  That was pretty awesome.  Did a little assisted living facility, played at The Cove in San Antonio with West Kings Highway and tore it up!  Played a farmers market the next morning and got gusted out by wind, hauled my gear down to Lulling Texas for the Rajin' Cajun Cookout and got down with Jean-Pierre and the Zydeco Angels then headed back to San Antonio for the "I Love My Brain" SMARTSA fundraising concert.  Music from 6pm to midnight. I looped, jammed out with my buddy Tony Rogers (cellist from Austin) and FreshFX (Columbus, OH)  got down after us.  I M.C.'d the night, got some cash for the kiddies in the arts program at Briscoe Academy and called it a night.  Sunday was the Lone Star Grille in Leander with Jean-Pierre and the Zydeco Angels.

A bunch of my new Texas friends came out to the shows, saw some great bands, played a lot of music, made a little money.  Came home exhausted to my lovely wife.  That's what I'm talking about.  GREAT weekend.

So it's not been the most productive week I've had.  I got pretty burned out doing all the loopfest video.  That really was an incredible amount of work.  I finished it last week and really haven't been able to get going on much this week.  I've gotten through my in-box, getting tax stuff prepared, got some house projects done, etc... It's not like I'm sitting on the couch. But I'm pretty spent.  I'm just kind of in a brain-mush zone.  Could be the weather.  It's very NW down here.  Cold, humid, and dark.  That kind of weather just kills me.  All I want to do is eat and sit in front of a heater.  Maybe it's some of each.

I never did take any time off after the loop tour.  I usually need a week in bed after that.  Blah, blah, blah... Maybe I'll get the ball rolling this afternoon.  Got a few things dangling that need to just get done.

Hey everybody,

Here it is... the final footage directory.  The 2014 Southern California LoopFest.

If you just want it all and you want it now - here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjiWJF83CBil0gCTKLYoQFQS2o35XeGNb
65 videos

I hope you have enjoyed the concert footage of all my fests.  It was months of work, but I think it's a tremendous resource for all loopers.  I hope you use it for your edification and entertainment.

A couple of notes:  I did get 2nd camera footage and an audio feed from the venue.  Most of it was corrupted and the audio feed was generally bad. Plus it had late starts and cut-offs. I pretty much abandoned it early on although it is the only footage for Just Alliance and the last half of his set was on a corrupted disc and unseable.

The event was streamed live on both days.  Got just about everything captured on my camera.  A few videos did not make the cut from Jean-Paul De Roover due to copyright issues on youtube from his label basically sayings screw you, we don't care if he gave you permission to use this video, we're going to file infringement claims.  I just pulled them down - it's nothing you haven't seen before anyhow. And it looks like I lost one video of Per Boysen somewhere.

Boss U.S National looper Champion SuperTall Paul Newman:  A large portion of his set was comedy in a vaudevillian style including a couple of lovely tunes of him and ukulele. However, those tunes were not looped and therefore not included.  Neither was a good portion of his "performance" that was comedy.  However, a couple of his "tunes" give a great example of what was going down between songs.  He was hilarious and awesome!

Got a whole pile of newbies to our little corner of the universe here.  Lots of fun.  Highlights: Super Tall Paul Newman, Daniel Park out of Las Vegas - yowza!!!, Per Boysen (in my opinion his BEST performances of the tour), and me - I felt my tune Rip This was the best I had ever done it, I was on the verge of kicking this tune out of my playlist forever until I saw the video.   Notable newbies: Sander Rosceo Wolff, Zack Walters, Strictly Albert, Jeff Kaiser, and riz orkestra.  (Not newbies to looping, just new to the video archives)

I monkeyed around with video effects on my stuff just to see what if, most of it is pretty hacky but fun.  I chose not to do that to other performer footage as I didn't want to upset anyone.

Venue was great, sound was good, stage was great, and we're returning there for 2015.

Videos are already being posted on the FB groups and I should be done posting them fairly quickly.

La Chichada!

Hey Everybody, it's a rare two-fer email from Peterson Entertainment, Llc. Since this is a double announcement we figured you wouldn't mind getting two emails from us this month. Especially since it's all about NEW MUSIC!

First and foremost, La Chichada has officially released it's debut single, "La Chichada Screams!"

This is the first recorded material for La Chichada.  The tune is a medium-tempo, Latin, rock song featuring percussion, screaming sax, Anthony Garcia's distinctive voice, dark lyrics, and a heavy groove.

Musicians: Anthony Garcia - guitar/vocals, Noah Peterson -sax/percussion, Kenny Nutting - drums, Chris Lawson - percussion, Phillip Luna - bass/percussion.

Second the band has officially signed with Peterson Entertainment, llc. We look forward to long and productive relationship with La Chichada.  We are already in rehearsals for making the debut record, and scheduling shows while posting videos on youtube

Webpage: La Chichada - visit our webpage!

La Chichada is Anthony Garcia, Kenny Nutting, and Noah Peterson.  This trio is frequently augmented with guest musicians. La Chichada plays dark and brooding, Latin rock featuring screaming saxophone, heavy grooves, quirky harmonies, and lyrics designed to be taken a myriad of ways.  This is Latin infused art rock at it's best.

The NW LoopFest Portland is returning to the Analog Theatre!  Can't wait to get back there for two stages of fun.  www.nwloopfest.com Check in periodically for updates and announcements.

Still working on our Seattle location and will have an announcement for a special show in the coming months!

Looks like there could be a new fest in Denver this year too.
